Since more than seventy years we hear that, Sri Lanka is a developing country. Sri Lanka can be basically introduced as a tropical South Asian country that extents 65610 Km2 of land in which twenty one million people live. Beyond few decades, a large number of states like India, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, Maldives , and Singapore were under developed and now, they have achieved the level of developed countries, by overtaking us. But still we are in the same level of developing countries. Is there a reason for those countries to be able and being unable to us?
The countries in the world, can be divided into two major categories as, good countries and developed countries. So we suppose that, the basic path to achieve towards a good country is formed, by transforming the attitudes, thoughts and the behavior of the citizens in a country. If all the people in the society can live without doing any molestation or harmful thing to others or do not make effort to acquire others belongings to someone else’s hand, and if each and every individual can live as a fair and sensible person in the society for being a great humanist , no one can prevent from the honorary feeling that create in them ‘ as a good country‘ and it enables both the pathways towards developed as well as good for easily accessing to be taken into one way. So every person’s duty is, to seek of that, whether the socialized individuals live with these attitudes and to use remedies that can help creating a good citizen in a good country. A good country and a developed country is in two aspects. Being a developed country, does not make it a good country. The components of a good country can be denoted as follows.

Therefore, our organization attempts to point out a feasible criteria that is necessary for achieving as a good country.

Actually Sri Lanka is a cultural country. It is a state that possesses a glorious history of its location, with the relationship of historical heritages from its nature itself. Our country has its specific cultural identities that are inherited only for Sri Lankans themselves. Sri Lanka has acquired the success of protecting cultural values and paying respect to them. It is a feasible state that needs for a good country.
HEALTH AND WELLBEING
When discussing the health and wellbeing of this country, several declines are existed. It is a right of every individual in a country for being a vigorous and healthy citizen. A country with more health facilities and less disclosure for diseases can be denoted as a developed country.
INTERNATIONAL PEACE AND SECURITY
It can be pointed out that, some sort of tendency has been acquired within Sri Lanka, for international peace and security. After ending thirty years of severe conflict and civil war, Sri Lanka has become a free and independent country. We could see some international mediation during the period of war. Though some of the world powerful states appear for the mediation of national security of this country, during some war situations, it has been confined because of the prevailing peaceful situation at the time. But during the war season, the international mediation was very high in this country.

Even Though Sri Lanka is a country which is subjected to timely climate change based on its natural location, it is fortunate for not occurring of severe disasters like earth quakes, volcano eruptions, snow falling, sand storms or thunder storms, that happen in some other countries in the world. But now Sri Lanka is in a situation of facing disastrous situations like floods and land slides. During the rainy season, a large number of families become displaced and the property destructions and losing of lives are also increased in this small island. According to the geographical state and the extent of the land, Sri Lanka is small as well as an specific island. But it is a sorrowful reason that, this small island is unable to confront theses weather perversions successfully. It is a common awareness that Sri Lanka gets monsoonal rains at the same periods of the year. Even if the disaster management centers have identified the regions that are alarming for climatic threat, only temporary solutions are applied.
The disasters are possible to be influenced towards the economy and cause to bring hindrances for achieving sustainable developmental goals. The adaptation of climatic changes, should be included within the frame of national developmental principles. The technology is so developed to take the whole world to hands within one moment. But, Sri Lanka is still in a very low level in achieving such progress. We cannot skip science and technology, when stepping along the path of a good country. Most of the developed countries have achieved the uppermost point in the technology by today. Even India, the largest state in South Asia is still a developing country. But it is now in a forward movement through technology, because India is now overtaking the other technologically advanced states. Specially, the technological knowledge of Indian experts are imported by the developed states. Hence, the nuclear power is one of the criteria that the world powerful countries use to display their power. Nuclear power cannot be achieved, by the advance of science and technological power. The power of science and technology should be used for the progress of the country, but not for any illegal act.
A country which has reached the uppermost in both the human resources and physical resources, can be defined as a fully developed country. It is imperative to seek into the facts, what the developing and under developed countries of the world need to draw, when stepping into developed country. Then, let’s study the certainties of the development. The certainties of a developed country can be measured in several criteria. The common truth is that, good and rational tasks will enable the advancement of the condition of a country. So we have to dedicate our attempt, by giving a message to all the citizen in the country for being aware of them through the social organization “ Be Smart To Build Our Country” It is necessary to create an innovative crowd in a country as developing a state. This request is the goal of our organization, “ Be Smart To Build Our Country.” When the general consensus of “Be Smart To build the village” , “Be Smart To build the town” come to the apex, the country become good and can receive the aims to access the goals.Then certainly the country will become the state of developed.
Our purpose is to make the people in the country to walk along the above path towards our goals. The citizens in the country should be united to achieve such opportunities in both, developmentally and expeditiously.
